16_designerinspired_bratz.jpgBratz, the worldwide fashion-doll phenomenon, brings the height of fashion directly from the runway to stores this season, with a unique new line of couture dolls inspired by a top Canadian fashion designer.Haute Couture en Coulisse, an exclusive line of French-Canadian Bratz dolls, was unveiled at Canada’s premiere fashion industry events in Toronto and Montreal. The line features three new BRATZ characters - Emy, Noemie and Amélie - looking ultra-chic in contemporary fashions based on Montreal couture designer Marie Saint Pierre’s spring 2007 collection.

This is the first time the hugely popular Bratz brand has ever asked a fashion designer to dress a BRATZ doll - a groundbreaking event in the world of fashion. “The Bratz are the only girls with a passion for fashion, and I could not envision a better fit for the Marie Saint Pierre brand,” says the designer.

Each doll includes two high-fashion outfits based on signature pieces and new designs from the award-winning Saint Pierre.

The new, limited-edition Haute Couture en Coulisse line is available exclusively at Wal-Mart Canada, while quantities last, for a suggested retail price of $19.96.
